About
Sizemore

70 Years of Growth

Built on Resilience, Driven by Innovation, Committed to Service

Founded in 1955 in Augusta, Georgia, Sizemore, Inc. has a rich legacy of resilience, innovation, and service. Originally established as Sizemore Security International by retired police officer Lieutenant Eddie Sizemore, the company’s journey was shaped by determination and family commitment. After Eddie’s untimely passing in 1957, his wife, Mrs. Thelma Sizemore, took the reins, overcoming significant challenges to continue her late husband’s vision. In 1972, their son, C. Preston Sizemore, further solidified the family legacy by becoming President and CEO.

Over the decades, Sizemore evolved to meet the growing needs of its clients:

1982

The launch of Sizemore Personnel Services addressed the increasing demand for reliable temporary and contract workers. Renamed Sizemore Staffing Services in 2000, the division has remained a trusted resource for connecting skilled employees with businesses.

1991

Sizemore Janitorial Services was founded, later incorporating the Green Solutions Program to help clients optimize facility operations while minimizing environmental impact.

2011

The third generation of leadership took the helm when Preston E. “Size” Sizemore, grandson of Eddie and Thelma, was named President and CEO. With over 20 years of experience at the company, Size led efforts to expand Sizemore’s security, staffing, and janitorial services into new markets, reinforcing its position as a national leader in service excellence.

Today

Sizemore, Inc. operates with a broad reach, managing eight divisional offices, more than 10 Vendor-on-Premise contracts, and holding over 20 state security licenses. This operational flexibility allows Sizemore to adapt and expand seamlessly into new markets, providing custom solutions to meet the diverse needs of clients nationwide.
