Summer's here, and so is the heat — so before anything else: take care of yourselves out there. Your safety is the first thing on my mind this season, and you'll find some important reminders in this issue.
A few things worth celebrating. We're glad to have Adam White stepping into new leadership in our Security line — his experience is going to make us stronger across the board. And our security teams deserve real credit for controlling overtime under Craig Moore's leadership. That kind of discipline doesn't happen by accident.
On the janitorial side, our business keeps growing — and it's growing for the best possible reason: the quality and responsiveness you deliver every single day. Thank you to everyone who keeps our clients' facilities running clean and cared for. You earn that trust shift by shift.
We've also got some improvements coming to Workday that will make your work life easier — more on that next.

What's New in Workday
Bigger Changes. More in Your Hands.
We've got some significant changes coming to Workday and how you interact with it — all designed to make it a more valuable tool for you and to make working at Sizemore an even better experience. Two new initiatives are rolling out: Workday Text Messaging and Advanced Scheduling.
📱 Workday Text Messaging
We've heard you — our teams don't live in email. So we're moving the most critical notifications to text. No checking your inbox. Just real-time texts on your mobile device for what matters most.
📅 Advanced Scheduling
Managers can now build and post schedules right in Workday, in real time — and that means you get more control over your own schedule, too.
Right from the Workday app:
✓ Swap a day with a co-worker
✓ Request a day off
✓ Pick up an extra shift for more hours
✓ Set your availability to work
✓ Schedule Paid Time Off (PTO)

⚠️ Safety Spotlight
A recent heat-related incident at one of our sites is a reminder: extreme heat is serious — and heat illness is preventable. Keep these in mind on every shift this summer.
