About Sizemore

Sizemore started in 1955, when Lieutenant Eddie and Thelma Sizemore opened a small security company in Augusta, Georgia. Seventy years later, we provide security, janitorial, and staffing services across 15 states with more than 3,400 team members, and some of America's largest corporations trust us with their facilities.

The Sizemore Story

Eddie's standard was simple: show up, do the job right, and treat every client like your only client. Three generations of the Sizemore family have run the company on that standard ever since, and it's what turned one Augusta security office into a partner for distribution centers, manufacturing plants, hospitals, and corporate campuses. In 2026, we partnered with Inspirit Equity to fund our next chapter of growth. Preston Sizemore is still CEO. The standard hasn't moved.

In January 2026, Inspirit Equity acquired a majority interest in Sizemore, a Los Angeles firm that partners with founder- and family-owned businesses to accelerate growth. Preston Sizemore continues as CEO, and the operating teams our customers work with every day are unchanged.

What the investment added was the ability to grow beyond the Southeast, through both organic expansion and acquisition. Six months later, that is exactly what happened.

In July 2026, Sizemore acquired Carlson Building Maintenance — a Minneapolis company that has cleaned retail and grocery buildings since 1959 and today covers more than 250 locations across ten Upper Midwest states. It closed a gap we had spent years explaining to national accounts: a customer with sites in Georgia and sites in Minnesota needed two providers. Now they need one.

The standard we set in 1955 hasn't moved. The map did.
